Asalamualaikum everyone! Today I’m going to show you how to make your own DIY Cork Board Organizer!

At the moment, I use this handy tool to help me plan out my YouTube/blogging schedule and it is definitely helping me keep my thoughts organized.

INSTRUCTIONS:

PHASE ONE: PAINTING

YOU WILL NEED:

CORK BOARD | PAINT | PAINT BRUSH | PAINTER’S TAPE

1.) Measure how you want to divide your board.

2.) Tape away! This will keep your paint lines clean.

3.) Paint

4.) Allow 15 minutes for the board to dry.

5.) Peel off the tape to reveal your newly renovated board.

6.) Clean up with a damp towel if needed.

PHASE TWO: MAKING THE ACCESSORIES

YOU WILL NEED:

PUSH PINS | NAIL POLISH | CLOTHESPINS | CRAFT FOAM SHEET | SCISSORS

1.) Paint two coats of nail polish on the backs of your push pins for custom colored pins.

2.) Repeat this step to create matching matching clothes pins.

3.) Take a sheet of craft foam and cut it into smaller rectangles. These will be used as pockets later on.

PHASE THREE: PUTTING IT TOGETHER

YOU WILL NEED:

SCISSORS | YARN

1.) Add your organizational tools to your board. (Ex. a weekly calendar.)

2.) Create your foam pockets by folding them over unevenly and pinning the corners.

3.) Cut a piece of yarn so that it has the same width as your cork board.

4.) Tie both ends of the yarn around its own thumbtack and post them on opposite sides of the board.

5.) Hang your clothespins.
