DOLCE & GABBANA HIJAB AND ABAYA COLLECTION – MUSKA JAHAN
Asalamualaikum everyone! In today’s post I’m going to talk about the new Dolce & Gabbana Hijab and Abaya Collection that has just been revealed to the public. As you can see, they’ve managed to take their own design aesthetic and use it to create clothing that is Muslimah friendly. If you look closely you will see that they’ve added a lot of very feminine and modern details including florals and lace.
As someone who has spent some time in the Arab world, I can definitely see this collection being sold out in countries like Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates within a very small amount of time. The styles that are shown in the images are very similar to the vibes that I got while being there and I know that If I had the purchasing power, I could definitely see myself getting one as well. They are feminine, beautiful, glamorous, and modest at the same time. I think that the Dolce & Gabbana team that’s in charge of the marketing and design aspects of the collection really did their research and I can’t wait to see more.
Now what does this mean to world of modest fashion? It means that our reality is changing very quickly. This is going to be the time where a bunch of companies realize the potential of the untapped market that is modest or Islamic fashion. Once this line sells out like hot cakes, more and more high end and high street brands are going to cater to us as customers. They will see the huge potential in growth for their businesses…..and in return we get beautiful clothes 😀 .

I don’t know anything about the official release dates, but because the designs have a strong Spring vibe my guess is that they will be in stores within the next few months Inshallah.
