MY HIJAB STORAGE SOLUTION UPDATE | MUSKA JAHAN

Asalamualaikum everyone! In today’s post I am going to be sharing my hijab storage solution update. I think that it’s always fun to see how other hijabis store their scarves, and the nosy part of me wants to know how many they own as well so I thought that I’d share my current hijab storage situation.

HANGER HIJAB ORGANIZATION METHOD

I have been trying different hijab organization ideas here and there, but I’ve found that my current method works the best for me. I’m sticking to the hanger method, where I fold up my hijabs lengthwise and place two scarves on each hanger. I love doing this because it prevents my scarves from wrinkling and it makes me feel like I’m picking my scarf of the day from a store. In addition to that, I love the fact that I can see all of my hijabs at once, which reminds me that I have enough and should not purchase any more 😀 .

HOW I STORE MY WRINKLE-FREE SCARVES

A new tool that I’m using to organize my hijabs is this scarf organizer that I recently purchased from At Home. It’s lovely because it has two hooks that keep the scarf organizer in balance while it is hanging on the rack. Overall, I like to place my wrinkle-free scarves in the organizer because it is easy and allows me to save a ton of space for the rest of my closet.

SORTING BY SEASON

Another update that I want to share on my hijab storage solution is that I like to sort my scarves by season. Since we are currently in the Spring / Summer season, I have placed my breathable and lightweight hijabs within arms reach. This means that my Fall / Winter appropriate hijabs are on the other side, and until the cooler weather starts to come around, these scarves will be patiently waiting for their turn. I personally love to sort my scarves by season because it makes the decision process a lot easier and provides a sense of order to my collection.
