HOW TO MAKE HIJAB PINS WITH GLUE
Hijab pins can be quite expensive!!! If you don’t want to spend money or don’t care for the designs you have seen so far, you should DIY and try making your own. In this tutorial I’ll let you know what materials you need and four easy steps on how to make hijab pins at home.
Make sure to take a look at my previous Hijab Pin DIY which is even easier than this one!
MATERIALS:
– GLUE (I use Aleene’s jewelry and metal glue)
– PIN
– PIN CLOSURE
– BEADS
– SCRAP PAPER (Just in case it gets messy)
– GLOVES (Very necessary, as the glue will literally stick your fingers together)
You can purchase blank hijab pins here: https://www.etsy.com/shop/FReyALovE?ref=l2-shopheader-name
INSTRUCTIONS:
STEP 1.) Estimate where your bead will be. This will help you know where to start gluing.
STEP 2.) Start gluing.
*Make sure to glue right where the bead will land. This will prevent it from overflowing at the top. Also, it helps if you twist the pin while squeezing a small amount of glue at a time.
STEP 3.) Slide your bead and repeat until done.
STEP 4.) Let the glue cure according to the instructions before using the hijab pin.
Voila! You have made your own hijab pin!!!! 😀
