HIJAB TUTORIAL 2: SHAYLA STYLE – EVERYDAY HIJAB TUTORIAL
Asalamualaikum y’all 😀
Here is an everyday hijab tutorial for you guys. It’s very easy and simple to remember, so I highly recommend it for new hijabis. This tutorial is the shayla style that I learned after visiting the United Arab Emirates and every time I wear my scarf this way it brings back sweet memories :'(Â
One thing that I like in particular about this everyday hijab style is that it stays secure for long periods of time. This is because the scarf is wrapped around the head a third time, making it easy to pin down and secure. On many days, I prefer to wear a hijab style that covers the chest but if I am wearing a loose coat or kimono, then I like to make my hijab smaller by using this method.
Well anyway…here is the step by step tutorial:
1. With a long rectangle scarf, place the end on one side of your face at jaw level.Â
2. If your scarf has the tendency to pucker, make sure to fold it over/under a few inches.
3. Wrap the hijab around the face while maintaining the fold.
4. Wrap the hijab one more time and drape the end so that the corner is at eye level at a downward angle.
5. Pin the scarf as needed.
I hope you liked this everyday shayla hijab look 😀 make sure to comment if you want me to recreate a specific hijab style!
