Asalamualaikum everyone! In today’s post I’m going to share some tips on how to style modest outfits for cold weather. When the Fall and Winter seasons cause the temperatures to drop, I tend to grab the nearest piece of clothing to keep myself warm. As a result, I end up looking like a bum…..which is okay when you’re inside the house, but not when you want to look like someone who has their life together.
So in an effort to look more presentable, I’ve come up with a few methods for myself to stay stylish, warm, and modest in the cold. I hope they inspire you to come up with cute outfits that keep you warm and covered up at the same time 😀 .
FOLLOW THE STREET STYLE FORMULA
If you are having trouble coming up with an outfit for cold weather, just remember that when you combine a dress, a hoodie, and a coat, you get an amazing outfit. I love this type of look because it’s very “street style chic” and reminds me of how off-duty models dress in the cold. With this type of outfit, you get to incorporate lots of layers, which means lots of warmth 😀 and that’s a very big plus in my opinion.
WEAR A BLANKET SCARF
Blanket scarves are a big trend this season and I personally love them! I think they look amazing when wrapped around the neck as an over-sized handkerchief.
