HOW TO FIND MODEST GYM CLOTHING + SPORTS HIJAB OOTD
Asalamualaikum everyone! In today’s post I am going to be sharing some tips on how to find modest gym clothing. We’re going to be covering some budget-friendly options and I’m going to share some information about modest specialty brands as well.
BUDGET-FRIENDLY OPTIONS
Written below are my recommendations on how you can find affordable necessities. If you find your gym attire with these tips, you can stay modest, save a lot of money, and look fabulous at the same time 😀 .
SUNGLASSES
I live in a very sunny climate, so it is very necessary for me to sport some aviators while I go for a jog. You can find sunglasses anywhere, but I like to purchase mine from eBay because they only cost a dollar or two.
NINJA SCARF
If you are a hijabi, I HIGHLY recommend that you invest in a collection of ninja scarves. They are made from breathable materials and are essential because they don’t get in the way of your workout. All you have to do is slip the scarf over your head and tuck it inside your shirt. Ninja scarves can be found in a lot of places online, but in terms of pricing, eBay is your best bet.
QUARTER ZIP PULLOVER
In terms of modesty, the quarter zip pullover is the easiest type of workout top to work with. You should definitely check for them in the men’s section, because they will be structured in a way that hangs loose around the body and covers the bum.
STRAIGHT CUT LOOSE PANTS
If your search for modest workout pants has been a struggle, then you should search at Walmart. I have two pairs of their Danskin Dri-more Relaxed Pants, and I LOVE them because they are loose and have pockets.
JOGGER PANTS
Another type of pant that’s worth looking into for modest gym wear is the jogger pant. I enjoy wearing these when I’m going out for a run because they taper around the ankles. Jogger pants are all the rage these days so you can literally find them anywhere (Forever 21, H&M, PINK, etc.)
